Spring Allergy Tips

A throbbing head and stuffy nose in February usually seems like an easy diagnosis in the midst of cold and flu season. However, this year, the causes of hay fever are already here to stay, and allergies may be to blame.  Record pollen counts in various parts of the U.S. shows that spring allergies have already started in much of the country.  Be sure to plan ahead and see us early this year to better prepare for this Spring and Summer! OIAA’s Dr. Darter was featured on a recent news story by Fox 25 on oral food desensitization.  The story followed patient James Hayes as he is going through the desensitization process for peanut allergies.  He has already successfully completed the process for eggs and will soon be able to add peanuts to his food plan.  Read more
